Ms. Bell
 
Teressa D. Bell is a 2nd and 3rd grade ELL teacher.  Miss Bell attended Metro Nashville Public Schools for grades K-12.  She earned her B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from MTSU in 1983 and went on to earn her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education in 1988, also from MTSU.  Miss Bell began teaching in Metro public Schools in 1983, at Cora howe Elementary School.  She continued at this school for the next 25 years.  During this time she taught K, 1, 2, 3, 4, and Title I Reading.  Miss Bell completed Reading Recovery Training in 2004, and earned an additional endorsement in English Language Development in 2007 at TSU.

This is Miss Bell's first year at Thomas Edison and she is enjoying meeting an working with the new families. Miss. Bell's sister also teaches 3rd grade at Thomas Edison Elementary. The students call the sisters Miss D. Bell and Miss T. Bell. 

If she has any spare time, she enjoys spending time with her mother and sister, and reading and listening to books on tape.
