Dr. Rebecca Welch is the assistant principal at Thomas Edison. This is her third year as an assistant. Dr. Welch was the assistant at Hickman previous to coming to Edison. She has been in education for the last 16 years teaching in Florida, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
Dr. Welch earned her doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practices from Trevecca Nazarene University. She is married to Michael “Todd” Welch and they enjoy taking trips, going to sports events, and being active. Dr. Welch also enjoys cooking and gardening when she has time.
She is very excited to be a part of Thomas Edison and is quickly learning what a special school this is.
